Local owner Patrick Mallaney began repairing vehicles while still in high school by attending the Kankakee Area Career Center, then onto Bill Bolger Ford and finally starting his own one-man shop in 1976. Mallaney's CARSTAR now employs 17 people, most of whom have been with Mallaney's CARSTAR an average 15 years. Two of the top body technicians have more than 40 years of experience in the industry.
In 1990 Patrick Mallaney became a CARSTAR franchisee because he wanted to offer his customers more. Mallaney's CARSTAR also offers 24-hour towing and accident assistance, as well as a lifetime warranty on the repairs of your vehicle.
