Lt. Col. Rudolph Vallario started the business in 1967 after retiring from a career in the military. In 1968, Rudy’s son Ron, at the age of 13, started his employment at Superior Auto Body CARSTAR by sweeping and cleaning up. By 16, Ron was painting and doing bodywork. In 1973, Ron left for active duty in the military and upon his return took over the everyday operations of the shop. Around 1982, Ron took complete control of the shop although his father Rudolph continued to come in to lend a helping hand until the age of 92. For more than 40 years, Superior Auto Body CARSTAR has dedicated itself to the highest quality of service.
